YOU TUBER ASKS AKSHAY KUMAR TO WITHDRAW RS 500 CR DEFAMATION NOTICE
Recently a news has grabbed attention that Akshay Kumar has sent a legal notice of defamation of RS 500 crore to a you tuber from Bihar for allegedly defaming him with respect to Sushant Singh Rajput case of suicide. He considered all allegations of the you tuber Rashid Sidequee as false and baseless that he used his Canada citizenship to help the accused against SSR case.We all know that Akshay Kumar was very vocal regarding Sushant case and may be this is the reason the you tuber as targeted him to earn money via you tube video.
It has been learnt that the you tuber Rashid Sidiquee has earned nearlly 15 lakh by you tube posting videos related to Sushant Singh case.Now in reply to Akshay Kumar's notice he asks him to withdraw the notice unless he will proceed legal proceedings against Akshay Kumar. He alleged that Akshay Kumar has targeted him to harass him and there was nothing defamatory in his videos and refused to pay RS 500 crore damage sought by Akshay Kumar.
Rashid's reply via his loyer claimed that the content shown in his videos was on the basis of other media platforms news and research and every Indian has right to freedom of speech and that his videos is just a viewpoint.
"Akshay Kumar faced severe backlash after interviewing an influential politician, whereby thousands of people have made personal remarks against him on various you tube videos and websites. Surprisingly , Kumar has taken any action on the same , however , he has selectively chosen Siddiquee to saddle the blame of defamation ," the reply said.
The Mumbai police have also filed a case against Siddiquee on charges of defamation, intentional insult and public mischief for his posts against Mumbai police and Maharashtra Government.
